Long Division Practice Problems
If you want to practice long division at home, here are some example problems to work on.
1. 23 /2
2. 2,400 / 8
3. 96 / 8
4. 1,056 / 9
5. Mrs. Donavon wants to buy a car that is $9,654. If she makes 6 equal payments, how much will each payment be?
6. There are 146 people at the zoo. There are benches that seat 5 people. How many benches are needed for EVERYONE to have a seat? (Interpret the remainder)
7. Lilly has to divide 57 packages of Oreos. She has to divide them among 6 friends. There are 8 Oreos in each package. How many Oreos will each friend get?

Welcome Back!
Wow! We are off to a great start for the second semester! We had a wonderful day today sharing what we did over break and getting back into a routine! Remember a New year=A New Start!
